The Boys' Place

About "The Boys' Place"

Once, every few years, a show comes along that is so ground-breaking, so fresh, funny and original that upon seeing it you know the sitcom landscape has changed forever.

This is not one of those shows.

This is actually a show about the joy of manhood and manly love, but from a safe blokey distance.

Meet beer-swilling Shamus (Dean Kirkright), TV-and-film-obsessed Josh (Cameron B Patterson) and kleptomaniac, gay farmer Brett (Michele-Antonio Mattiuzzi) in a house built by men for men. Join them for a tinnie from the couch made from slabs of beer, take a slash at the urinal in their bathroom and leave your political correctness at the door.

Over six hilarious episodes, Shamus will repeatedly fail to dump his smoking hot, but oh-so-needy and ditzy girlfriend, Kate (Madeline Kelly), while Josh will lock horns with uber-left-wing Arts student Jane (Anna McGahan), while Mr De Silva (Sukh Raj Deepak) will simply try to collect the rent without walking in on someone half-dressed for once.

The Boys' Place is the first full-length production of Work In Progress Films.
